Time of separation: a psychotherapeutic model of brief psychoanalytical psychotherapy time limited

This psychotherapeutic model is a time limited (six months) therapy which was originally thought to allow patients who cannot afford psychoanalysis in private practice to undergo psychotherapy at a clinic following the classical psychoanalytical model. This term is established from the very beginning and inevitably creates and evokes a certain amount of separation anxiety that is meant to be deeply explored during the therapy
