
Starting from the delicate definition of meaning and rule of “Candidate’ in the psychoanalytical trasmission, the author goes through different kinds of training around the world in International Psychoanalytical Association Institutes by means of an imaginary dialogue during an annual meeting of the International Psychoanalytical Association Institutes by means of an imaginary dialogue during an annual meeting of the International Psychoanalytic Studies Organization. This helps to fully understand the building up of identities of future psychoanalysts, the import of their “origins”, their culture, the way the training is carried out, their taking part to Institutes life. Special consideration is given to ‘opening to the Other”, talking about mother tongues, bilingualiasm or pluralism of languages in comparison with the current concept of “pluralism of psychonalysis”.
